What You’ll Do:
- Conduct high-impact outbound outreach to potential customers in the building industry.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify sales opportunities.
- Schedule meetings with promising leads.
- Develop and implement a territory sales plan to meet sales goals.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospects and customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments.
- Propose new ideas to improve sales processes and strategies.
- Utilize CRM systems and sales tools effectively.
- Deliver compelling presentations and communicate clearly.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and take initiative in your work.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Monitor personal sales metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
- Engage in networking and industry events to identify new opportunities.
- Represent and promote Diligent’s brand and values in all interactions.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- You have a BS or BA in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
- You are an expert user of MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com), sales and marketing automation tools, e-learning tools.
- You are highly motivated, self-directed and customer focused.
- You are an excellent communicator.
- You develop and manage positive working relationships with prospects and customers.
- You use social media, outbound calls and email to build on or create new relationships.
- You will build a territory sales plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
- You are a self-starter who takes initiative and will enthusiastically and independently create a plan to ensure success.
- You have strong written/verbal communication/presentation skills.
- You work well with technically diverse groups.
- You embrace technology.
- You have a point of view but low ego.
- You love working with people, and they love working with you.
- You like to win, and you play both tough and fair to get there.
