Marketing Director
We are seeking a dynamic and highly creative Marketing Director to support brand development while contributing to Rexford’s culture of excellence and entrepreneurialism through highly imaginative and engaging marketing campaigns and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of strategic and innovative thinking, imagination, a robust sense of design fun and the ability to complete detailed tasks in an exceptionally fast-paced environment. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and will help drive brand awareness, as well as produce relevant and engaging B2B campaigns and unforgettable email content.
Location: #LI-Hybrid / Los Angeles, CA; Costa Mesa, CA; or Riverside, CA
Work Arrangement: You will follow a hybrid work model, offering a balanced blend of remote and in-office work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, including email marketing campaigns, branded assets and more.
- Bring the unforgettable to every marketing challenge, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
- Contribute to the management and development of the company's online presence, including websites, landing pages, social media platforms and other digital marketing channels, ensuring brand consistency and exceptional, engaging content.
- Nurture B2B relationships through creativity, high-touch experiences and extraordinary service with broker partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand market trends, tenant needs and the competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Lead the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, events and content marketing initiatives.
- Utilize analytics and market research to measure campaign effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement and establish data-driven recommendations and procedures.
- Manage vendors, agencies and external partners to optimize resources and achieve marketing objectives.
- Contribute to a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and excellence.
- Support the development and execution of a B2B loyalty program from conception to launch, with a focus on brand development and highly creative assets and campaign rewards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on real estate, industrial property or related industry experience highly preferred. Experience with loyalty programs a plus.
- Superior writing skills and adherence to AP style.
- Highly creative and entrepreneurial mindset, approaching problems with innovative solutions at every turn.
- Expertise in website development, email marketing and brand development.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making combined with a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems and analytics platforms. HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience overseeing creative, ambitious, fast-moving marketing campaigns and email marketing initiatives.
Compensation
Rexford Industrial's total reward plan includes a premier benefits package, bonus eligibility and long-term stock incentives. The expected annual base salary range for this role is $136,000 to $180,000, with a 25% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility.*The actual base salary and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letter.
