About the Role

The Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Prague R&D office.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain automated tests in performance/scalability areas for Veeam Backup for Office 365 products
  • Enhance and extend automation frameworks and modules
  • Develop tools and solutions to facilitate and streamline testing processes
  • Collaborate with QA Performance team to address their needs in automation and increasing test coverage
Technologies You’ll Work With
  • Load testing tools: Locust
  • Programming/Scripting: Python
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
  • Observability: Grafana, ELK stack
  • Virtualization & Cloud: VMware, Azure, Kubernetes
  • Automation frameworks: pytest
What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years’ experience in automating tests for comprehensive, multi-component systems and products
  • Hands-on experience with developing test frameworks, tooling, observability
  • Strong programming in Python
  • Solid knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and OS internals
  • Familiarity with hypervisors, public clouds, and containerization
  • CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • Experience with any observability stack
  • Analytical, proactive, and self-sufficient
  • Ability to dive into tasks with minimal supervision, self-learning
  • English proficiency for daily communication within international teams
Bonus Skills
  • Building and automating testing tools and frameworks
  • Familiarity or experience with Performance/Scalability testing areas
  • DevOps experience (Terraform, Ansible)
  • REST API testing and automation
  • Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL) and message broker systems (Kafka, Nats)
