Position Summary
The Institutional Marketing Manager will be responsible for the curation, development and production of institutional product marketing, digital campaigns and investment insights content. This new role includes product marketing and the development content for integrated marketing campaigns to engage and influence institutional investors and investment consultants, with the goal of delivering lead generation, and driving brand awareness.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the financial services industry, and specifically experience with institutional product and client marketing. Experience in investment product marketing, digital marketing, data analytics, and financial writing, with some design skills preferred.
- Development of clear, concise product and investment content and communications in support of all distribution and client service needs.
- End-to-end project management of institutional strategy marketing materials and commentaries, including the writing and editing of market overviews and performance attribution.
- Partner with distribution and marketing team to develop content strategy and production of institutional strategy materials.
- Take content from concept through completion: collaborate with investment teams to write, produce, and edit a variety of equity investment communications, including macro/economic commentary, market updates, and distribution communications.
- Follow market and economic trends and partner with the investment teams to generate timely investment views via quick-turn articles, longer-form briefs and white papers, videos, webcasts, podcasts, and presentation slides.
- Structure materials in line with the broader content framework, focusing on bringing our differentiated insights to light, explaining our investment views, and highlighting potential client implementation techniques.
- Ensure content is compliant for use across distribution channels and regions and suitable for the evolving needs of clients
- Partner with key stakeholders across Investments, Marketing, Product, Distribution, and Compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance or a related field.
- 8-12 years of investment marketing experience with strong background in equities and related topics, and the ability to convey complex investment and financial topics in a clear and engaging way.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of institutional distribution and product.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills with experience developing marketing campaigns and driving initiatives to completion.
- Exemplary attention to detail, verbal and written skills with demonstrated experience effectively communicating new ideas and strategic plans to key stakeholders.
- Innovative thinking to develop unique and impactful marketing deliverables that differentiates the firm from competitors.
- Client-centric approach with thorough understanding of client needs and how to best position our investment strategies.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while handling multiple priorities concurrently and managing business expectations.

Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. If hired, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and is only one part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include a discretionary performance bonus and other Harris sponsored benefit programs.

$165,000 - $225,000 USD
