Pactum is building software to handle and carry out a new kind of AI-based negotiations. We are first in the business; our product and problems are new, and our clients are as big as they come. On one of our  Engineering teams, you will be building tools that make designing, managing, and monitoring negotiations possible on a massive scale.

You will be working on:

• Our cloud-based infrastructure and ensuring its high availability.
• Maintaining infrastructure deployment and CI/CD processes.
• Improving developer experience for local product development
• Securing access to our infrastructure and services.
• Constantly improving our observability stack.
• Our negotiation infrastructure for ML and other AI technologies.
• Managing PostgreSQL & helping respond to escalated DB issues
• Implementing SRE concepts such as SLI/SLO and production readiness 

We’d like you to:

• Be experienced in managing Cloud Infrastructure (GCP) via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Have excellent problem-solving skills and experience debugging complex systems and network issues.
• Have used and set up observability tools and platforms such as Opentelemetry, Grafana.
• Be proficient in programming (we mainly use nodejs, bash, kotlin, python) and be ready to learn more and be open to writing some production code once in a while.
• Have excellent English, solid communication and feedback skills.

It will be a plus if:

• You like taking charge of problems and have experience in leading dev efforts.
• You thrive in a constantly changing environment.
• You have experience with different application deployment tools and platforms.
• You have an understanding of modern DevOps/SRE concepts.
