What does your job look like?   

Your role will be take care of the development lifecycle including design, estimation, planning, unit testing, release and deployment support.

Your main responsibilities will be to 

• Develop and maintain server-side components and services using Java 1.7 or higher, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using Spring Boot to support front-end functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improvements.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring security and data protection.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects, and work collaboratively to find timely solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

What you need for this role:

• Java Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java 1.7 or higher, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Spring Boot: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Spring Boot, including building and deploying microservices.
• API Development: Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
• Database Management: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Testing: Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and familiarity with integration testing.
• Build Tools: Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle for managing project dependencies and builds.
• Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Proven experience in building scalable and high-performance applications using Spring Boot.
