About This Role

Hello, prospective pickle! Design Pickle is looking for a Contract Video Producer!

The Contract Video Producer plays an active role on Design Pickle’s Marketing team, supporting video production for approximately 10 hours per week. This position will produce and prepare for editors a high volume of video content that is both internal and external to Design Pickle. 

The ideal candidate will be able to work with cross-functional teams on a variety of creative video projects, from behind the camera at live events, to filming training videos, to podcasts, webinars, and mainstream advertising production.

Reports to: Director of Creative & Communications

Location: Must be local to Scottsdale, AZ to film on-set at the company hub.

Specific to your role, we’re looking for individuals who have...

• 1-3 years of experience with video and multimedia content production (bonus if you’ve filmed, recorded, and/or edited webinars and digital ads). 
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Premiere Pro and After Effects). 
• Basic working knowledge of Frame.io, Wistia, and YouTube.
• 1-3 years of experience with modern videography equipment, sound/audio equipment, lighting equipment, and basic knowledge of filming.
• Experience following a creative brief and storyboard as part of a collaborative creative process, working with a scriptwriter, motion graphic artists, and others.
• A portfolio of content to share with us! 
• Must be located in the greater Phoenix area.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects including webinars, podcast episodes, video ads, educational videos, and internal projects    
• Manage work priorities and projects in project management software 
• Bring new, bold ideas to the table that align with customer acquisition goals 
• Live stream content across Facebook, YouTube, and other live video channels
• Create immersive sets and shooting environments through set decoration, prop creation, costuming, and keen attention to detail seen on camera 
• Support live events with camera operation of broadcast-style live events
• Manage post-production workflows across various camera systems and file formats, including preparing raw footage to be set up for motion artists (i.e. keyframing, formatting, etc.)
• Edit short/snackable video content across all social media and advertising platforms derived from long-form assets and delivered in multiple aspect ratios 
• Upload and tag assets within a digital asset management system
