About the RoleBurson is seeking a nimble, structured, and execution-oriented Resource & Project Manager to support the growth and operational excellence of our Canadian Creative team. As the team continues to scale, this role will help us run the business more effectively while driving key initiatives and projects forward. You’ll operate in a hybrid capacity high-level enough to bring structure and strategic oversight, yet comfortable getting into the details when needed. You’ll help shape how we work, ensuring our creative teams have the clarity, tools, and space to do their best work.
Key Responsibilities Resource Management- Oversee the full delivery of creative projects over a certain scale - from intake and scoping to execution, delivery, and retrospectives.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and communications to ensure projects meet goals and deadlines.
- Coordinate key meetings and milestones to ensure alignment across disciplines.
- Support new business efforts through proposal coordination, resourcing, and operational planning.
- Structure and scale workflows as the team grows; continuously optimize systems and tools.
- Develop dashboards and reporting to improve visibility and data-informed decision-making.
- Partner across creative, account, production, and finance teams to improve collaboration and reduce friction.
- Identify operational gaps and implement improvements that balance efficiency with creative freedom.
- Foster collaboration and inclusion across the creative team; ensure transparent communication.
- Mentor and guide team members, helping them grow in operational and project leadership skills.
- Partner with leadership to prioritize and execute key studio initiatives aligned to business growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience in operations management, project coordination, or studio management in a creative, marketing, or professional services environment.
- Has an understanding of the creative intricate skillsets across, art/copy, design, motion graphics, editing, filming and productions.
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and capable of creating clarity in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; continuously solutions oriented, able to influence without direct authority.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on execution, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Strong proficiency with collaboration tools, project management systems, CRM, and reporting dashboards.
