Cargomatic
Cargomatic
Company overview

Cargomatic is a digital freight marketplace that connects shippers with local, regional, and long-haul carriers. The platform streamlines the freight booking process by eliminating middlemen and automating administrative tasks. Cargomatic specializes in matching available trucking capacity with businesses needing to move freight, focusing particularly on the short-haul and drayage markets. The company's technology provides real-time tracking, digital documentation, and automated payment processing for shipments. Founded in 2013, Cargomatic aims to improve efficiency in the traditionally fragmented trucking industry by leveraging mobile and web technologies. The platform allows carriers to maximize their asset utilization by finding nearby loads that fit their available capacity. Shippers benefit from faster booking, competitive pricing, and increased visibility into their supply chain. Cargomatic has expanded beyond its original Los Angeles market to serve major shipping hubs across the United States.
