About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a highly technical group responsible for designing, constructing, operating and maintaining our rapidly scaling offices in Asia.

We are looking for an individual, regardless of background, who has a proven ability to deliver no matter the task, has solid technical experience and can make well-reasoned organisational decisions as they relate to project tasks. The right candidate for this role will work well autonomously, manage time exceptionally well and be able to make judgement calls with the data and reasoning to back them up.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our interior commercial projects as we acquire, renovate and build our offices in the region. You’ll liaise between internal stakeholders and external parties across multiple projects at once to ensure they run smoothly from the concept stage to completion. Our team is collaborative in nature, spanning many internal departments and external vendors, contractors, consultants and landlords. Your specific work will cover all aspects of our complex new office builds and restack projects in the region.

About You

  • Have 7+ years of construction project management, project coordination or superintendent experience in commercial interior fit-out construction
  • Excellent written and spoken communicator; able to describe detailed problems with brevity and accuracy
  • Creative, collaborative and enthusiastic team player who is eager to learn and take initiative
  • Have extensive experience in procurement, contractor management, construction planning and overseeing design processes, including developing schedules, quality control, workflows, tracking milestones, managing risks, long-lead materials and coordinating with internal and external teams
  • Have working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing systems
  • Able to prioritise tasks, solve problems and meet deadlines across multiple projects without losing attention to detail
  • Having a project management degree or an engineering or architectural degree with relevant experience is a plus
  • Having PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM and/or MS Office experience is a plus
  • Willing to travel 4-6 weeks per year to visit various offices
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus
