Senior Enterprise Sales Manager
Reporting into the RVP Enterprise Sales DACH, The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities and closing enterprise sales deals with some of the largest Brands & Enterprise businesses across the DACH region, supported by in region Marketing, SDR and Sales Engineering. We attend and present at some of the largest AI and Product events across the region, regularly holding speaking engagements, with strong event presence, and as a Senior Enterprise Sales Manager, you’ll utilise these opportunities to drive new business opportunities with some of the largest brands in Germany.
You’ll be a strong new business specialist, with strong Pipeline Generation focus and work to secure Pendo's revenue opportunities, pitching and closing Enterprise sales deals with CEO, CIO, CPO, MD and CRO stakeholders within the customer business. It is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to build a region and excels at closing transformational deals with the largest accounts in the region. Role Responsibilities will include:
- Work full-cycle deals throughout the sales process from initial prospecting through to closing.
- Research and prospect into target Enterprise companies using various prospecting tools
- Build and manage a territory plan and strategy across your target customer accounts
- Learn and demonstrate the Pendo platform to new and prospective customers
- Partner closing with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product and CS teams to drive revenue and relationships, internally and externally
- Navigate prospective customers through trials and proof of concepts as and when needed
- Contract and pricing negotiation alongside deal desk and sales operations teams
- Be an integral part of Pendo's Sales team and help to drive culture and happiness for Pendo colleagues and partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years or more of Enterprise sales success, preferably in an entrepreneurial SaaS environment.
- Proven success in closing deal sizes 100k-$1m+ ARR
- Consistent track record of hitting goal and $ numbers
- The ability to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations
- Ability to work team based complex sales cycles involving and leveraging Pendo Exec’s Experts and Partners - always ensuring we have customer success as our priority.
- Fluency in German & English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MEDDPICC and/Force Management Methodology preferred
- Willingness to learn in a high-paced sales environment
- Technical or Product Management background
- Past SDR/BDR or Strong PG background
