The Customer Success Architect role provides the solutions architecture for customers who utilise the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CoE), a hub for transforming their technical environments using cloud native technologies and tooling and advancing their cloud strategy.
Your role in the team...
- Design and Architect Cloud Solutions:
Architect innovative and scalable cloud solutions for customers, leveraging Microsoft Azure technology stacks. Tailor solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and modern cloud standards. - Review and Optimize Customer Architectures:
Conduct in-depth reviews of customer cloud architectures, identifying areas for optimization, security improvements, cost-efficiency, and performance enhancements. Provide actionable recommendations to evolve their cloud environment. - Provide Expert Technology Guidance:
Advise customers on emerging cloud technologies and Azure-native services, helping them stay ahead of industry trends while aligning with their long-term goals. Guide their technology roadmap to ensure future-proofing and innovation. - Lead Customer Cloud CoE Backlog:
Serve as the technical lead for the customer’s Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE), driving backlog prioritization and ensuring the team focuses on high-impact items to modernize their Azure platform. - Backlog Management and Task Creation:
Actively manage and create user stories, backlog items, and tasks in Azure DevOps, aligning them with customer requirements and project goals. Maintain a structured and organized backlog to ensure smooth execution within Agile sprints. - Architectural and Engineering Collaboration:
Provide hands-on architectural and solution support to CoE engineers responsible for deploying and configuring cloud solutions. Collaborate closely to ensure successful implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of the designed architecture. - Lead Agile Sprint Planning with Customers:
Facilitate sprint planning sessions with customers, ensuring alignment on their Cloud CoE backlog. Drive discussions on upcoming features, prioritize tasks, and define clear objectives for each sprint. - Participate in Agile Ceremonies:
Engage in internal Cloud CoE Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Contribute to continuous improvement of the team's agile practices, providing insights from both technical and process perspectives.
What we'll need from you...
- Azure Solution Architecture Expertise:
Proven experience working in Azure environments, with deep expertise in architecting complex cloud solutions, leveraging IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services within the Azure ecosystem. - Cloud-Native Platforms:
Strong experience in utilizing cloud-native platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offerings such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to design modern applications. - Cloud Migration & Transformation:
Expertise in leading cloud migration projects and formulating cloud transformation strategies, including assessing on-premise workloads and executing seamless migrations to Azure. - Agile Methodology Experience:
In-depth experience with Agile methodologies, including managing backlogs, facilitating sprint planning, and participating in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and retrospectives. - Industry Awareness:
A keen understanding of recent technology industry shifts, cloud adoption trends, and emerging innovations in the Azure ecosystem. Ability to translate this awareness into actionable insights for customers. - Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) & Well-Architected Frameworks (WAF):
Ideally, experience working with Microsoft's CAF and Well-Architected Frameworks to align customers' cloud environments with best practices for governance, security, and performance. - Security Clearances (Preferred):
Possession of or ability to obtain NPPV3 and SC Clearance, enabling you to work on sensitive and classified projects within regulated industries or government sectors.
