FabFitFun is looking for a Video Editor to join our team. Reporting to the Content + Creative Manger, this person will be a natural storyteller with a strong ability to craft engaging narratives through video content. Ideal candidates will have experience in growth marketing or a strong awareness of how video content can be used to drive sales and conversions. 

Location: FabFitFun is based in the Greater Los Angeles area in West Hollywood,CA. This role will be expected to work in a hybrid environment and will not be eligible for remote.

What You’ll Do:

  • Edit a high volume of in-house original videos and create various versions optimized for different platforms that align with FabFitFun’s style guide and brand direction while owning project schedules and timelines
  • Capable of taking raw footage and independently developing compelling stories and creatives with minimal direction, ensuring the final product aligns with brand messaging and marketing goals
  • Execute and apply finishing and delivery skills to each edit, including color correction, sound design, sound mixing/EQ, graphics, and multi-format/channel delivery 
  • Contribute to the continuous ideation process, providing creative input and suggesting innovative approaches to video content that drive engagement and conversions 
  • Ensure all media is properly ingested, cataloged, and backed up within the video team
  • Collaborate with the internal team to develop and execute video content strategies that align with growth marketing goals, focusing on driving conversions and increasing customer engagement

What You’ll Bring:

  • 4+ years of post-production experience within creative, film, media & entertainment-related environments
  • Extensive knowledge of editing in Adobe Premiere
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects is preferred, but not required 
  • Basic understanding of audio mixing pertaining specifically to video
  • Strong understanding of video editing trends and the ability to apply these trends in the creation of content that drives engagement and sales 
  • Proven ability to take raw footage and develop compelling stories and creatives with minimal direction, ensuring alignment with brand and marketing objectives
  • Ability to contribute to the ideation and creative process, bringing new ideas to the table that align with overall marketing strategies
  • Proficient in graphic design and the creation of static assets, complementing video content to create cohesive visual marketing materials

The expected annual hourly rate for this position is $30.00/hr - $36.00/hr. The compensation package will also include an initial equity grant, in addition to a range of generous medical, dental, vision and other perks & benefits. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications.
