The role of Senior Product Manager: 

🚀 We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to spearhead the growth of our core user base. You'll be instrumental in evolving our product through data-driven insights, user-centric research, and innovative strategies. If you're passionate about leveraging technology to enhance user experiences and drive growth, we’d love to hear from you.

 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • 📈Growing the User Base: Your main focus will be on improving our product to attract and retain more regular and champion users. You’ll use our user flywheel model to be smart about where we put our efforts.
  • 📊 Data-Driven Decisions: You’ll analyse qualitative data and use impact modelling to decide which areas to focus on, making sure we’re targeting the right opportunities for growth.
  • 🔎 Product Discovery and Research: You’ll be heavily involved in product discovery, conducting user interviews, and running research to understand user needs. You’ll work closely with UX and engineering to make sure we’re solving the right problems.
  • 🎯 Setting Ambitious Goals: You’ll be comfortable working with OKRs and setting challenging but achievable targets, keeping the team focused on reaching our goals.
  • 🤖 Thinking Creatively with AI: Ideally, you have some experience with AI or are eager to explore how we can use it to improve the user experience. You’ll work with our internal AI experts to find innovative ways to integrate AI into the product.
  • 🤝 Collaborating with Other PMs: You’ll need to be a team player, working closely with other product managers to share insights, avoid duplicating efforts, and ensure we’re all moving in the same direction.

 

About you: 

Essential:

  • Solid understanding of software product management, as well as possessing a high level, technical understanding of software development and delivery.
  • Interest in EdTech: You’re curious about the EdTech space and how technology can enhance learning and knowledge management.
  • Strategic and Analytical: You have a strategic mindset and are skilled at using data to guide your decisions, especially when it comes to qualitative insights.
  • Discovery-Driven Product Expert: You demonstrate a track record of validating ideas through discovery for a user facing product
  • Experienced in virtual research: You conduct virtual discovery/ research calls with customers, users and prospects. 
  • Data competency: an ability to use data to report on outcomes but also drive further user discovery.
  • Stakeholder management: Experience of managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: A willingness, and ability to adapt and refine working processes, to best suit your team, and the growth of Glean. 

 

Bonus / Nice to have: 

  • Experience with AI: While not essential, experience with AI is a plus, particularly in applying it to improve user experiences.

 

💰Salary and benefits:

£70,000 - £80,000 dependent upon experience

Location: 

We have a beautiful office space in Leeds and we love it when we get together to collaborate in person. We typically operate a hybrid way of working, however for this role we support remote working within the UK, if you live more than 50 miles from the office.

If we invite you to meet with us for interview, here’s an overview of what the process will look like: 

  1. Screening interview with someone in our Recruitment team (30 minutes). 
  2. First stage interview with two of our Product team (1 hour).
  3. Final stage interview which includes a 1 hour culture and values interview, plus a 30 minute case study. You will be meeting with the Co-CEO (Dave Sankey) and one of the Product team. 

Ahead of your interview you will receive a confirmation email outlining who you’ll be meeting and when, anything you’ll need to prepare in advance and any resources we think you might find helpful.
