The Role:
We need a Data & Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize our data solutions within the cloud environment. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining data systems that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement data architectures on cloud platforms, primarily AWS.
- Manage data lifecycle, from ingestion to archiving, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for cost-efficiency and performance.
- Work with other engineers to integrate cloud solutions into the broader system architecture.
- Automate deployment and management of infrastructure using tools like Terraform.
- Monitor system health, performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in Solidity to integrate and work with smart contract and DeFi data systems.
- Proficiency in AWS services related to data management (e.g., S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
- Strong analytical skills to translate data needs into cloud solutions.
