About the Job
The Data Account Manager is charged with ongoing management of existing data buyers and identifying new data product expansion opportunities with existing buyers. In this role you will manage the Data buyer accounts current products and identify upsell/cross sell opportunities in the existing book of business.
What you’ll be doing
- On-boarding new customers to ensure smooth adoption of Sovrn data products & services
- Managing existing data customer relationships with a central focus on client retention
- Developing and nurturing relationships at all levels within your book of business
- Contributing to the growth and success of the Data Solutions team by identifying upsell and cross sell opportunities within your book of business and managing all aspects of sales cycle
- Traveling to and hosting in-person meetings with your book of business
- Owning day to day communication with data customers to provide timely, thoughtful, and productive responses to various issues and opportunities as they arise
- Leveraging a variety of reporting tools to provide actionable insights to internal and external teams
- Providing in-market feedback to refine existing solutions and ideate new ones
- Actively supporting cross-divisional initiatives and representing the perspectives and needs of the data customers internally
A successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years in a quota carrying Account Management position
- Adtech-specific experience, ideally in an Data/SSP/Exchange/Demand role
- Enthusiasm for a fast-paced start-up environment
- Track record of revenue retention and client satisfaction
- A passion for problem solving, turning challenges into opportunities for business growth
- Experience managing a pipeline and forecasting revenue
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to provide a best-in-class experience; with a service-focused mindset
- Outstanding analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
- Effective time management skills with an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and provide superior customer service
- Accountability and ownership to make decisions for your specific areas of responsibility
- Ability to identify problems and explore potential solutions that can be presented clearly to your client
- Strong work ethic with a self-motivated attitude and ability to be resourceful to get the job done
- Able to travel 25% (networking, events, conferences, to meet clients)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional working experience
Nice to have
- Experience in the online advertising industry with an understanding of cookies, hashed emails, mobile advertising IDs, and their respective applications and use cases
- Ability to communicate across all levels of organization
- Ability to clearly articulate technical solutions and concepts
Location: Boulder, Colorado - Candidates must currently live in, or are willing to relocate to the Boulder/Denver area. Sovrn’s hybrid schedule includes onsite in our Boulder office. #LI-Hybrid

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package includes commissions, equity, and benefits. Actual earnings may vary depending on the candidate's direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
