IT & Security Admin in DevOps TeamNew

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and co-own (trained by team lead) april’s cloud (GCP) infrastructure
• Workstation IT management (STIG, MDM, Azure, Google Workspaces, etc, including equipment purchases)
• Manage and improve internal IT systems, including user access, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Own SOC2 Compliance processes & relevant security infrastructure
• Support security best practices by applying patches and updates to systems.
• On-demand IT support from internal / external users
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate system provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
• Monitor system performance, scale and health, and troubleshoot issues related to servers, applications, and networks.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployments and improve system reliability.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in IT positions. 
• 1+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE positions. 
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
• Basic knowledge in IT management (MacOS, Windows, MDM)
• Familiarity and basic experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity and basic experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of Linux and Windows system administration.
• Basic networking and networking protocol knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls, HTTP(s), RPC).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with gRPC
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
