Role:

The Sr. Account Manager is primarily responsible for the initiation and daily management of digital marketing projects for assigned accounts. This person will be the assigned clients’ day-to-day contact and should drive and carry out the execution of projects across the client’s business. The role is similar to an Account Manager, however the expectation is for this role to be more self-driven and expected to lead projects with less engagement from their immediate

 

Areas of Focus:

  • Demonstrates the ability to lead multiple projects independently; but works effectively to manage upwards and across the team
  • Understand role and function of other agency disciplines and when those staff members should be brought in to interface with the client
  • Set and communicate clear expectations with team for each project
  • Maintain a positive relationship between agency and client and provide leadership within the agency on behalf of the client
  • Understand clients’ business and strategic direction
  • Show initiative by following up on all work in progress to ensure due dates are met and responding quickly and accurately to requests
  • Manage assigned projects associated with SEO as well as with stand-alone creative development, production, legal approvals, client approvals, etc.
  • Monitor all budget, billing, research and production activity on assigned projects and communicate status of each project to appropriate agency and client contacts
  • Manage the core functions of the account: weekly status reports, contact reports, monthly billing and tracking estimates
  • Supports good ideas and helps them come to life

 

Qualifications/Traits:

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 4 - 5 years agency account management experience
  • Experience with digital creative and digital marketingincluding website management, and SEO 
  • Thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Exhibit excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Dynamic agency member, contributing to a positive culture
