Business Development Project Manager
We are looking for a Business Development Project Manager to serve as the internal execution arm of the BD team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and coordination skills who can bridge business needs with tech, trading, operations, and compliance. You will represent BD in cross-functional discussions, drive project execution across departments, and bring a commercial mindset to solving internal challenges.
Job Description
- Act as the primary liaison between the Business Development team and internal stakeholders (Trading, Tech, Ops, Legal, etc.).
- Drive execution of strategic and operational BD projects, ensuring clear communication, timelines, and accountability.
- Translate business goals into clear requirements and track progress across multiple workstreams.
- Proactively identify blockers, misalignments, or inefficiencies and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Apply BD thinking to solve internal problems—prioritizing scalability, partner impact, and long-term value.
- Assist BD team members in managing and structuring incoming business opportunities from external partners.
- Maintain documentation, project updates, and reporting for transparency and alignment.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of work experience, preferably in project management, internal strategy, business operations, or consulting.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when coordinating between technical and non-technical teams.
- Solid understanding of trading or crypto/fintech concepts (you don’t need to code, but you need to keep up).
- Ability to balance structure with flexibility in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a business/BD lens—able to evaluate trade-offs, ask the right questions, and push for outcomes.
- Self-starter with strong time management and detail-oriented.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Trading, Tech, or Product teams in a fast-moving organization.
- Exposure to crypto markets, quantitative trading, or Web3 ecosystems.
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Asana, Airtable, or Jira.
