At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Duties: The Software Developer III at GoDaddy.com, LLC in Tempe, AZ will build highly scalable productivity products utilized by small businesses. Provide customer support for our GoDaddy provisioning system applying their expertise in Microsoft Exchange environment, Microsoft 365 and Open Exchange professional email. Troubleshoot and fix system issues using the latest Cloud technologies. Fix software bugs in Golang, perform testing of the same using Go test. Direct and review tasks of junior team members. Design, develop and test software features in Golang. Utilize expertise in Agile methodology, leading agile ceremonies, creating and grooming stories, planning multiple sprints. Define, document, and review development and test processes. Develop and integrate REST APIs, and utilize automated testing frameworks. Assist junior team members in following company-wide best practices. Perform Quality Assurance on bug fixes/features. Review Quality Assurance processes to ensure thorough coverage of functional, security, and standards requirements. Design and document software features, including internal and external dependencies. Apply experience with RDBMS, relational databases, shell scripting, SQL, SQL queries, Unix and Jenkins. Write modern C# code and Powershell scripts. Telecommuting permissible.

Salary: GoDaddy's compensation may vary based on an individual's qualifications at the time of the offer. The annual base salary range is $84,000-$164,000 per year.

Location: Tempe, AZ

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or related field plus 2 years of experience as a software developer or related occupation. Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: (1) software development, testing, implementation and Agile methodologies; (2) developing and integrating REST APIs, and utilizing automated testing frameworks; (3) Big Data technologies, data warehousing, MS SQL, and performance tuning; (4) programming languages Python and Golang; (5) RDBMS, relational databases, shell scripting, SQL, SQL queries, Unix and Jenkins; (6) writing modern C# code and Powershell scripts; (7) Azure cloud services, .NET framework and .NET Core; and (8) web technologies including HTML, CSS, ReactJS, and NodeJS.
