🧠 The Role

The Staff Developer is the technical leadership counterpart to the Engineering Manager within the Product Development function. In this role, you’ll define and evolve engineering standards, guide architectural decisions, and provide hands-on support to solve complex technical challenges. You’ll mentor developers across the team, raising the bar on code quality, system design, and technical judgment. Because our team delivers across multiple products and problem spaces (both services-funded product development and SaaS), this role requires comfort with context switching and the ability to bring clarity and structure to varied technical challenges.

You’ll work closely with the Engineering Manager on team growth, delivery health, and prioritization to ensure our technical approach aligns with product goals and business outcomes. You’ll also help shape how AI is integrated into development workflows and products in ways that are practical, responsible, and deliver meaningful value.

You bring deep expertise in our tech stack (React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Express, Next.js, Node.js) and use that experience to design scalable systems, refine coding standards, and strengthen the technical foundation of our products.

Salary Range: $150-180k (Exact compensation may vary).
