SERVICE MANAGER
The Packard Culligan Water St. Louis, MO dealership, is looking for an exceptional Commercial and Industrial Service Manager with great Technical and People skills!
Our next Service Manager will lead by example in a hands-on environment to strengthen a motivated and competent workforce, ensure customer satisfaction and retention while assisting in achieving company goals. The Service Manager leads our Service team personnel and associated commercial and industrial service functions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. You will have the opportunity to develop and lead motivated Service Technicians through coaching and training of technical skills and customer service.
This is a hands-on management position. The C & I Service Manager will provide leadership through effective communication, process improvement, coaching/training, liaison between service and sales and mentoring in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position reports to the General Manager. Previous experience in Trades management is a plus!
What is the Commercial and Industrial Service Manager responsible for?
Apply Resolving service-related problems, approving billing adjustments as necessary
- Ensure adequate after-hours response to customer emergencies
- Maintaining appropriate staffing level, workload distribution, and employee skills necessary to best serve customers and meet business needs
- Provide sufficient training to ensure employees have the skills and information necessary to exceed customers’ expectations
- Develop realistic employee performance objectives tied to the dealership’s goals in order to support employee development and empowerment
- Maintain the company’s assets (plant, fleet, equipment, and other inventory)
- Achieve planned gross margin and revenue targets
- Conduct regular one on one employee and team meetings around employee and company goals
- Have ability to build team environment-
- Keep their knowledge and skills current as well as that of service personnel. Pursue WQA CWS-I certification
