Position Overview
Strive Compounding Pharmacy is looking for a detail-oriented "Data Analyst – Finance & Accounting" to join our remote Analytics team. This role will support Finance and Accounting with reporting, dataset development, and process improvement for invoicing and revenue/expense analysis. You will work closely with internal partners to automate financial reporting, assist with monthly close, and assist in managing billing processes for key customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain datasets that support accounting month-end close and revenue/expense tracking.
• Automate routine financial and billing reports, improving transparency for stakeholders in Finance and Accounting.
• Partner with the billing team to generate and distribute accurate invoices for the company’s largest customers, ensuring all charges align with contracts and agreements.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and visualizations utilizing SQL and BI tools (Looker), supporting decision-making and process improvement.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and billing processes.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a data analysis, finance, or accounting role.
• Hands-on SQL ability required; proficiency with Looker, Excel, or similar business intelligence/reporting tools is a plus.
• Foundational understanding of accounting, billing, and corporate finance terms and processes.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities—comfortable working with Operations, Accounting, and direct customer contacts.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting invoice generation, billing process automation, or accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with ERP, accounting, or billing systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Prior experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
