About the RoleStrive is seeking a Senior Video Editor to help shape, elevate, and scale our brand storytelling across digital, social, and experiential touchpoints. This role sits within the Brand/Creative team and partners closely with the Marketing, Growth, and Leadership teams to bring our narrative to life through compelling, craft-driven video content.
This is a senior, hands-on creative role—ideal for someone who combines exceptional editing craft with strong storytelling instincts, brand sensibility, and an understanding of how video drives emotion, clarity, and trust at scale. What You’ll Do
Lead Editorial Craft & Storytelling
- Own the edit from concept through final delivery on high-impact brand, marketing, and product storytelling projects
- Shape narrative structure, pacing, tone, and emotion across a wide range of formats (brand films, campaigns, social, testimonials, short-form, long-form)
- Elevate raw footage into cohesive, on-brand stories that feel intentional, premium, and human
- Translate Strive’s brand voice, values, and positioning into consistent visual storytelling
- Maintain and evolve editorial standards, motion language, and pacing guidelines
- Ensure all video content feels unmistakably “Strive” in tone and quality
- Partner closely with various teams at Strive to align vision and execution
- Participate in concepting, creative reviews, and strategic discussions—not just post-production
- Collaborate with external partners, freelancers, or agencies as needed
- Edit efficiently across multiple timelines while maintaining a high bar for craft
- Manage versions, formats, and exports for various channels (web, paid media, social, internal, events)
- Perform color correction, sound design, music selection, and basic motion integration as needed
- Provide feedback and guidance to junior editors or freelancers
- Help improve workflows, templates, and best practices across the team
- Be a steady creative presence who raises the quality of work around them
Experience & Expertise
- 6–10+ years of professional video editing experience (brand, agency, in-house, or production)
- A strong portfolio demonstrating narrative storytelling, pacing, and emotional resonance
- Experience working within a brand system—not just one-off videos
- Strong sense of rhythm, music, sound design, and visual timing
- Solid understanding of color, typography, motion, and composition
- Comfortable working with RAW footage, mixed formats, and evolving creative direction
- Ability to balance creativity with strategic objectives
- Understands how video supports brand trust, marketing performance, and long-term equity
- Comfortable receiving and integrating feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Detail-oriented but big-picture driven
- Calm under pressure, organized, and reliable
- Curious, collaborative, and invested in doing work that actually matters
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with paid media performance considerations
- Motion graphics or light animation skills
- Experience helping define or evolve brand systems through video
