Job purpose:
The Account Manager – Global Client Partnerships supports project delivery, ongoing client relationships and business development activities focused on depth and expansion within established global accounts. The Account Manager supports the activities of one or more GCP Hubs, leading specific accounts and/or projects, and working closely with relevant Project Directors to plan and execute global and regional STEM projects. As part of the global client partnerships team – the Account Manager plays a critical role in the success of the team as a whole and will champion collaboration to deliver excellence in quality, efficiency and delivery for Global clients.
Main responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead point of contact for customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Develop proposals, negotiate contracts in partnership with commercial affairs team
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet revenue targets
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status
- Collaborate with other members of team to identify and grow opportunities
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Coordinate with colleagues working on the same account to ensure consistent service
Experience:
- Product/ Marketing Manager experience from Pharmaceutical Industry or
- STEM analysis team experience giving robust analysis process knowledge or
- STEM Fieldworker experience giving robust client / workbook knowledge
- Account manager for an agency working in the healthcare/pharmaceutical space
- A track record as a financially aware and self-starting pragmatist
- Evidence of having coordinated or managed significant projects
