As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining high-performance microservices in Java. You will work on large-scale, complex systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
What you'll do:
- Develop new features and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into application functionalities.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Actively participate in code reviews to ensure quality and standardization.
- Identify and fix bugs, optimizing application performance.
- Work closely with the backend team for RESTful API integration.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android and Kotlin development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and project architecture
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Experience in native Android development using Kotlin.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and architectural patterns such as MVI and MVVM.
- Proficiency in consuming APIs with Retrofit and working with RESTful services.
- Familiarity with modern Android frameworks and libraries, including Jetpack Compose, Jetpack Architecture Components, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flow.
- Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks like Koin.
- Knowledge of unit testing best practices and tools such as JUnit.
- Experience with Firebase services and integration.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and follow best practices.
