We have a  Paid Search Associate position open in our Detroit office! 

Have an opinion on the recently announced depreciation of BMM? Have a love/hate relationship with auction insights reports? Get unusually excited by shifting bid strategy ROAS targets? This is the right position for you! 

The PaidSearch Associate works with the rest of the C-E performance media team to deliver the highest quality paid search activation possible. You’ll work with the team and your clients to continuously optimize and improve campaign performance and innovate our search activations. This position will work in the Google Ads and Bing platforms strategizing and implementing all types of Paid Search campaigns. 

This role is hybrid:  in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays.  

Key Responsibilities: 

Planning, both annual and campaign specific 

  • Identify and develop opportunities aligned with client’s performance goals, working with more senior members of the Paid Search team.  
  • Drive keyword and audience discovery, finding efficiencies and growth opportunities. 
  • Discover and research new partner opportunities and methods for reaching client objectives.  

Regular Management of campaigns 

  • Steward search investments (pacing, budgeting) 
  • Routine optimization, including keyword and audience management 
  • Copy and ad extension testing and optimization 
  • Regular auditing and revisiting of overall approach 

Testing, Reporting and Analyzing 

  • Working with the Lead, develop and launch tests and experiments on a regular cadence. 
  • Actively work with the analytics team to ensure reporting is accurate. 
  • Develop strong insights that turn data points into real, actionable commentary.  

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience in paid search including strong mastery of platform settings and capabilities 
  • Strong analytical skills and a working knowledge of Excel 
  • Experience in insight development and reporting/analytics 
  • Up to date with the latest trends in paid search 
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication 
  • Good presentation and project management skills 

At Campbell Ewald we believe in pay equity. The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on several factors including current/former employees in the position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, background, relevant experience and qualifications and location.
