What are we looking for?

We are a fast-growing SaaS company that is changing the way communities in the financial sector work together. We are seeking a Web Development consultant to support our frontend team, responsible for developing customer-facing features that span the entire breadth of CorpAxe's product line.

The ideal candidate is a strong technologist comfortable with the gamut of web technologies and willing to dive in an existing jQuery, CSS and ASP.NET MVC application. They possess robust technical skills in frontend development, along with a solid understanding of APIs, systems, and backend technologies.

As a web development consultant, you can expect to:

• Participate in the development and implementation of client-facing product with a focus on performance, usability and accessibility.
• Adapt to and work with a broad range of technologies.
• Collaborate with other engineers, PMs, designers and other groups within the organization in a remote-first environment.
• Be involved in projects all the way to production, receiving tasks and assignments from the team’s lead.
• Take inspiration from existing practices, following the team’s patterns with a focus on velocity.

• JavaScript/TypeScript and vanilla CSS
• Github
• jQuery, C#, ASP.NET
• jQuery Widgets
• Razor Templates
• Bootstrap CSS
• FullCalendar
• Windows Environment

Who you are:

You have strong frontend development experience with jQuery, vanilla CSS and some .NET. We also use TypeScript and React, though this project does not use much of the latter. You…

• Have a good understanding of application and system design and can dive into large, complex code bases, including big legacy ones.
• Are comfortable with reusing existing patterns, tools and libraries and adapting to an existing environment.
• Can debug issues that involve distributed systems with minimal oversight.
• Have empathy about users of the applications and care about building experiences that focus on them.
• 8+ years of experience in web development

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the US – no exceptions.
• Candidate should be located on the west coast or be willing to work in Pacific Standard time business hours.
• This is a contractual role and expected to be full time (1 year mandate with possibility for extension).

Compensation

• Salary Range: $150k - $190k / year
