We are searching for a Sr. Software Engineer, UI/UX to join our software team located in Hamburg, Germany.  You will work on a wide range of software solutions for music production on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, integrating perfectly with the audio hardware product line. This person is familiar with music technology hardware and software, enabling them to understand the technical requirements and challenges of our products and solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with the UI/UX design team and other members of the development team to design and develop our cross-platform application software
  • Regular communication with the QA, Product Owners and Product Designers
  • Designing, improving and implementing application software with focus on front end development
  • Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide design systems and guidelines
  • Communicate closely and continuously with the development and QA groups, as well as product management
  • Collaborate with team members to refine requirements for software development

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar education
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software design and development
  • Object-oriented programming skills
  • Familiarity with markup languages for UI implementation (HTML, CSS, or similar)
  • Proficiency with software development tools (Visual Studio Code, XCode, Git, Jira / Confluence
  • Experience with Figma and/or Adobe XD
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Excellent time, task and resource organization skills
