Associate Software Engineer

Team Description 

Our multi-disciplinary team of front-end and back-end engineers is dedicated to enhancing user engagement through Pendo Orchestrate. We develop features that enable product teams to create personalized, behavior-driven communication journeys across various channels, including in-app messaging and email. Our focus includes automation based on user behavior, building integrations with marketing platforms, and providing tools for measuring and optimizing messaging impact.

Role Responsibilities 

• Implement UI or backend features based on provided designs and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a high-impact global product.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and share knowledge.
• Debug and fix issues to maintain application stability and performance.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to deliver an excellent user experience.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies relevant to the product.

Minimum Qualifications 

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving technical challenges.
• Completed a project (academic, personal, or professional) showcasing coding abilities.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Eager to learn and grow, with a proactive approach to self-improvement.
• Any knowledge of frontend (JavaScript, React, Vue, HTML/CSS) or backend (Go, Node.js) is an advantage.
• Ability to think creatively and bring new ideas to problem-solving.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in SAID STATE is USD$ - USD$.
