Cloud Marketplace Product Manager
Stelo is looking for a Product Manager to usher our data replication product into cloud marketplaces such as Azure, Google Cloud, and Amazon Web Services. The Product Manager is a member of our Sales and Marketing team and liaises frequently with our Engineering and Support teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of implementing software as a service model, and solid understanding of online marketplaces. Added points for experience with data replication software. The Product Manager will launch Stelo’s new cloud-based initiative to capitalize on the growing demand for easy to deploy cloud solutions and create a seamless buying experience for customers. Once the product is launched, the Product Manager will continue to be the point-person for all aspects of the cloud-based program including industry networking and production optimization.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Execution:
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Engineering teams to design and implement robust and scalable cloud marketplace offering.
- Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activity to inform product decisions.
- Monitor and analyze pricing effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for pricing model.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the project lifecycle from concept through launch, managing timelines and deliverables.
- Work with technical architects to ensure the platform meets security, scalability, resiliency, and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with Support Team to ensure successful customer adoption, support pre-sales activities, and address customer implementation questions.
Expand and Optimize:
- Identify and pursue cloud marketplace business development opportunities to expand Stelo’s cloud services footprint within the data replication and migration sphere.
- Foster strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance product offerings and market reach.
- Drive the strategic direction of platform priorities and roadmap.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on SaaS products and platforms including Azure, Google Cloud and AWS.
- Strong understanding of SaaS technologies, cloud-based architectures, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with the backend of online marketplaces including partnership programs.
- Experience driving growth through strategic go-to-market planning and execution, particularly in SaaS products.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to manage stakeholders and project deliverables.
- Data-driven with a proven track record of identifying product experience success measures while working with Sales and Marketing to track KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
- Ability and willingness to attend industry events and network opportunities both online and in person (some travel may be necessary).
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Data Replication- relational and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with IBM Db2, Db2 LUW, Databricks and Google BigQuery.
- College degree or professional certification in technical product management, technology strategy, or related field.
- Full knowledge of industry trends and new advancements in tech.
Structure and Compensation
- The position is initially 100% remote, but may require attendance at industry events and network opportunities in the US, full-time and exempt
- Stelo will provide all necessary computer equipment
- Employee is responsible for providing a suitable workspace
- Candidate should expect to work Central time hours most days
- Employee will be assigned a fixed weekly schedule
- Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 commensurate with experience
