Echodyne is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our fast-growing team.
We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to build our next-generation software application that continues to extend the capability of our radars. As one of the key members of this team, you’ll partner with groups across the organization to design a compelling offering that works aside our cognitive radar technology. This is an exciting opportunity to inject your software engineering prowess into the cutting-edge field of mission-critical security that shapes the roadmap of one of the world’s fastest-growing C-UAS companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize industry software design patterns to implement features on subsystem that interconnect our radars with customer systems and Echodyne UI
- Champion an architecture that can scale and perform for mission-critical operations
- Utilize your knowledge of Python, C/C++, and Rust programming languages to evaluate and build practical solutions that address both the current needs and yet designed to last
- Demonstrate leadership within and outside the team in technical and non-technical areas
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of industry experience developing customer facing software systems
- Experience building modular architecture with API contracts
- Knowledge of Python and/or Rust and/or C/C++
- Experience implementing high performance back-end headless services
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

WHAT WE OFFER
The pay range for this position is $141,000 - $215000 per year.
