PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Manager’s central duty is to help ensure all projects are set-up for success throughout the life of the project. This includes a number of tasks. Project Managers develop realistic, detailed timelines, follow up with team members on tasks and deliverables, and update reports to maintain a strong line of communication among the agency team. It is important that the Project Manager closely monitors each project they manage to ensure they remain on schedule and stay on or under budget.
Primary Responsibilities:
- As the central resource for all project information, the Project Manager will develop and maintain tools and other reports that are valuable for all agency teams to understand the status and next steps of projects.
- Partner with studio leads and Resource Director to establish accurate project resource needs and ensure appropriate talent is assigned to the project.
- Build and maintain realistic schedules for all phases of all projects.
- Schedule and attend various team meetings.
- Solve day-to-day project interruptions and understand when to elevate concerns and to whom.
- Own the workflow process and hold team members accountable so as not to put the project or agency at risk.
- Manage monthly project finances, reviewing and updating financial reporting, acquiring client POs, engaging with outside client systems, creating third party POs and requesting invoices, as well as overseeing invoicing and tracking payment from clients.
- Responsible for getting jobs reconciled and closed.
- Add new jobs to the server and source previous artwork files as needed to brief the team.
- Maintain contact with outside third-party agencies as needed to keep projects moving and provide updates to the internal team.
- Assist with preparing projects for the production studio and help manage approvals and delivery.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 3 - 5 years of experience at a creative agency
- 2+ years of experience working with project management systems
- Superb communication skills with an emphasis in mediation and conflict management
- Highly responsive
- Working knowledge of agency process
- Ability to build relationships and effectively engage with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to know how much to manage team members with a firm but friendly demeanor
- Amazing organization skills and attention to detail while adhering to fast turnaround and tight deadlines
- Ability to lead a team without being a supervisor
- Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects simultaneously with multiple priorities

The starting salary for this position is between $65,000 and $80,000 annually, based on experience.
