Rev is looking to grow our sales team by hiring an experienced and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR). As an SDR at Rev, you will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential customers, nurturing leads, and laying the foundation for successful sales interactions. Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation

    • Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers within the defined target market(s).
    • Utilize various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to initiate contact with prospects.
    • Qualify leads based on established criteria and assess their needs and challenges.

    Outbound Communication

    • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our software solutions to potential customers.
    • Engage in consultative conversations to understand prospects' pain points and tailor messaging accordingly.
    • Schedule qualified appointments and demos for the Sales team.

    CRM Management

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
    • Track and report key metrics, including lead conversion rates and pipeline progression.

    Collaborate

    • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.
    • Provide valuable insights from prospect interactions to inform and refine sales strategies.

    Continuous Learning

    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and our own evolving software solutions.
    • Actively participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in client-facing role, preferably in the software industry
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot or other CRM software and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Additionally, experience with sales productivity tools including, 6Sense, Salesloft, Attention Tech, Sales Assembly, etc. is a plus
  • Results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Adaptability and the willingness work + thrive in a fast paced and ever changing environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
