What will your day look like?
As our new Marketing Manager, you will play a large role in the continued growth of our company, as you will be responsible for building and growing the reach and awareness of our VML MAP brand. In this impactful role, you will help define our marketing strategy and approach to strengthening and growing our position as a global centre of excellence for marketing automation and personalisation within our network and towards our clients and partners.
More specifically, your tasks will include:
Strategy & positioning:
- Develop and execute VML MAP's marketing strategy, aligning with our network positioning and targeting clients and partners.
- Craft compelling marketing plans and manage their execution across various channels, including social media, events, and digital platforms.
Branding:
- Own and evolve VML MAP's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints while leveraging our global brand guidelines.
- Spearhead branding initiatives in collaboration with key partners like Salesforce, Braze, Adobe, and Google.
Campaign Execution:
- Produce high-quality marketing materials, including social media content, event collateral, white papers, case studies, and thought leadership pieces
- Execute marketing initiatives across various channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, ABM (LinkedIn)) and website.
- Engage with broader WPP and VML marketing initiatives to ensure that VML MAP is well represented in our global campaigns
- Tracking marketing spend and results to provide clear ROI on campaigns and initiatives undertaken
Growth opportunities:
- Contribute to new business pitches and sales activities, expanding your expertise in business development.
- Engage in employer branding initiatives, shaping how we attract and retain top talent.
Who are you going to work with?
You'll become part of our Growth team where you'll find skilled teammates who are always ready to support each other. You will also be working closely with our COO on a weekly basis and collaborate with your colleagues across the entire VML MAP organization. We pride ourselves on being a flat organization that actively promotes and nurtures the talents of our staff, many of whom have been with the agency for a decade or more.
What do you bring to the table?
We're looking for a strategic and creative marketing professional with a passion for building brands and driving growth. Your love for marketing shines through in your work, and you bring good energy and enthusiasm to the team. You're confident in your ideas and have strong influencing skills, allowing you to effectively communicate your vision and get buy-in from stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a strong ability to think strategically while being an executor.
In addition, you have:
- 3+ years of experience developing and executing B2B marketing strategies, ideally within an agency, consultancy, or service-oriented environment.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful marketing plans that drive measurable results.
- Great copywriting and content creation skills, with a portfolio demonstrating experience across various channels (e.g., thought leadership articles, social media content, website copy).
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with social channels like Instagram and LinkedIn (incl. ABM).
- Experience with event marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent English skills both spoken and in writing.
