We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Integrations Team. This person will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the systems that power our external integrations. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working across the stack, with a strong foundation in Ruby on Rails (or a similar MVC framework), solid system design capabilities, and enough frontend experience (ideally React) to build intuitive user interfaces and integration workflows.

As a senior engineer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the architecture and scalability of our integrations platform, mentoring other engineers, and collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, design, and partner-facing teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable systems that interface with third-party APIs and services.
  • Build backend services and integration logic using Ruby on Rails or similar technologies.
  • Contribute to tooling components and workflows.
  • Collaborate with product and partner teams to scope new integrations and improve existing ones.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning.
  • Drive best practices in API design, testing, and documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members and help elevate engineering standards across the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on fullstack development
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or another similar web framework
  • Experience building and maintaining systems based on event-driven architecture
  • Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or similar
  • Strong command of SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL)
  • Solid understanding of system design, data modeling, and building scalable APIs
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs (REST, GraphQL, webhooks)
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a high-growth or startup environment
  • Working knowledge of React, or similar frontend frameworks
  • Familiarity with asynchronous processing systems (e.g., Sidekiq, Resque)
  • Understanding of OAuth, authentication flows, and security best practices
  • Prior experience building internal tooling or partner developer experiences

The anticipated salary range for this position is $147,827.00 - $265,296.00. Equity, bonus or commission, and benefits may also be provided as part of the total compensation package, depending on the position offered. If given an offer, the exact salary amount offered will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience, education, and other qualifications, as well as the candidate's location of residence.
