Project Manager, Digital Marketing

Zurich, Bern, hybrid

This position sits in our Zurich-based Digital Marketing business unit. We deliver a large range of services: from strategy and a performance-driven full-funnel approach to campaigning, e-commerce, data & analytics and content.  We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional and engaging digital experiences. 

 

JOB PURPOSE

You will be responsible for the planning, structuring, and management of complex digital projects at the local, DACH, and international levels. You will work not only with the local team but also with teams in other countries to ensure effective collaboration and smooth project execution. 

With your enthusiasm for our brand, you will contribute to increasing the awareness of DEPT® as a holistic digital agency in the Swiss market and beyond, thereby playing a key role in shaping the future of the company.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow the news in the industry and are enthusiastic about new technologies
  • Define, manage and execute various types of media projects for clients to maximize client business objectives, manage client expectations, and maintain profitability. 
  • Management of complex project timelines, budgets, scope and risks to help deliver optimal quality
  • Foster collaboration among a cross-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional business results. 
  • Maintains big-picture strategic and operational thinking balanced by strong attention to detail. 
  • Manage all communications between clients and internal team members on a given project. 
  • Identify new opportunities to meet clients’ needs as required; serves as the subject matter expert on processes, capacity, timelines. 
  • Supporting project estimation efforts to help generate offerings or change requests related to supported accounts
  • As an international digital agency, we constantly have the opportunity to explore new approaches and be part of innovative projects. The projects require entrepreneurial thinking and flexibility, but promise a lot of fun and the opportunity to constantly expand your knowledge. 
  • Able to share your passion for digital marketing in workshops, both internally and with clients. We give you the space to develop yourself at conferences and trainings and are happy if you share your know-how through activities such as blogs, lectures or lectureships. 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Excellent communication skills (English & German fluency) 
  • Experience within a similar digital marketing focussed role
  • You love making your colleagues' lives a little easier every day with your project management skills
  • You have already gained experience in digital marketing and have successfully completed several cross-functional projects
  • You always keep an eye on the three core areas—'time, quality, budget'—without losing sight of the big picture
  • Thanks to your proactive communication, you ensure that all internal and external project stakeholders are always up-to-date on the project status and upcoming deadlines
  • For you, a happy and satisfied client portfolio is a matter of the heart, and you give your all for the team and the clients
