ROLE

Ogilvy Social.Lab's Data & Automation team located in Brussels, is an integral part of WPP Global collaborating with partners from all around the globe, including Europe, UK, Africa, and the US. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our the uniquely entrepreneurial spirit of the Data & Automation team building solutions to improve efficiency and quality output both for us and our partners.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Mapping out existing workflows to identify redundant tasks and designing automation solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Developing and implementing tailored marketing automation solutions to streamline processes and workflows across a wide range of businesses and organizations across the globe.
  • Utilizing tools such as Zapier, IFTTT, or developing custom solutions using Python or JavaScript.
  • Applying strategic thinking to understand marketing processes and address industry challenges.
  • Contributing to the innovation and improvement of current processes to enhance operational efficiency and output quality.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of social media marketing to provide relevant solutions.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation and AI.
  • Engaging with clients to gather information and requirements for project development.
  • Additional reesponsabilities might include automating data transfers between CRM systems and email marketing tools or setting up automated reporting dashboards.

 

PROFILE

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a related field (e.g., marketing automation or business process automation).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation tools like Zapier, IFTTT, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of, and experience working with, marketing and digital marketing, particularly in social media marketing (e.g. KPIs, taxonomy, media plans, asset management…)
  • Strong analytical capabilities to inform decision-making processes.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools within the marketing ecosystem.
  • Ability to innovate and think out of the box to drive process changes and improvements.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
