Paperless Post is seeking an experienced product manager to develop vision, strategy, and go-to market approaches for our consumer and professional products with a complex network of over 200 million users. As a hypothesis-driven and data-conscious team leader, you’ll create best-in-class experiences that engage users in self-expression, and impact company goals in a meaningful way.

What you'll do here:

  • Drive the product strategy and ongoing development of Paperless Post’s media creation experiences across all our products and platforms.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and engineers to translate company goals into focused initiatives, actionable next steps, and a living backlog of opportunities.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product Design to craft tools and experiences that delight our internal and external Users, via thoughtful technical approaches.
  • Lead your cross-functional team by enabling, inspiring, and involving them in the product development process.
  • Prioritize features, build consensus and lead your team to execute a hypothesis-driven roadmap to drive impact on company goals on 30, 60, 90 day intervals.
  • Track successes and failures with data, adjusting hypotheses and team priorities accordingly.
  • Collaborate with and support Content Design, Customer Insights and Data teams with shared objectives and tactics.

About you:

  • 9+ years product management experience in a developer-centric environment.
  • Strong toolkit for organizing, influencing, and executing across engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience developing creative applications or other deeply interactive software.
  • Experience with KPI/OKR-based product development.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, measuring the incrementality and holistic impact of your work.
  • Comfort defining, collecting, and drawing insights from data relevant to your domain. Ability to analyze historical trends and hypothesize the information you have (and in some cases, the data you don’t). Experience using Looker is a strong plus.
  • Passion for customer happiness, and drive to identify angles, opportunities, and holes in the market.
  • Proven strengths in cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and the soft science of getting things done.
  • Conceptual knowledge of the technical building blocks of a modern web application.
  • Nice to have: Experience or background working with / developing animation tools, working with HTML canvas-based applications.

The compensation range for this role is $170,000 - 200,000 USD. 

At Paperless Post, compensation is based on a number of factors, including geographic location, job-related skills, years of experience, and internal team banding. All full-time offer packages come with a base salary, equity component, and options for fully paid medical, dental, and vision benefits. The range posted here is based on the NYC market and may vary based on candidate location.
