You will be a key partner to Finance and Tech, ensuring accurate financial data flows, strong operational controls, and a seamless, compliant month-end experience. This position is unlimited and located in Munich.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own Workday Finance end-to-end, ensuring a resilient configuration across COA, financial dimensions, ledgers, accounting rules, intercompany setup, journal templates and banking configuration.
    • Oversee integrated data flows between Workday, OneStream, billing/CRM systems, FP&A platforms and banking/payment infrastructures.
    • Support group consolidation through accurate mappings, validation of FX translation logic and alignment between Workday and OneStream.
    • Ensure consistent global close processes, including subledger integrity, reconciliations (bank, intercompany, GR/IR, clearing) and automated validation and reconciliation controls.
    • Maintain strong system-level controls and audit readiness, including workflow governance, audit trails and acting as primary contact for external auditors.
    • Train and support global finance teams through SOPs, documentation and dashboards to enhance system usage and operational transparency.
    • Lead and contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including system stabilization, M&A scalability and automation of finance processes.

YOU COME WITH

    • Proven ownership of ERP platforms within a group finance environment.
    • Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
    • Solid IFRS knowledge and understanding of end-to-end accounting flows (R2R, P2P, O2C).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate finance requirements into scalable system design.
    • Experience in financial systems change, implementations or global ERP rollouts.
    • Familiarity with consolidation systems (OneStream preferred; HFM acceptable).
    • Background in audit, accounting or financial control strongly preferred; CPA/ACCA advantageous.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills across Finance, Tech, auditors and external partners.
    • Hands-on, proactive working style with high ownership, reliability and resilience under pressure.
    • Fluency in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
