ABOUT KALLES GROUP:

Everyone deserves to be secure. Our mission at Kalles Group is to help secure the future for companies of all shapes and sizes.

While our expertise spans multiple disciplines, our method remains consistent: building trust and relationship with people -- whether you are a client, a consultant, or--in this case--a candidate.

No matter what role you come from--whether you're an executive or just starting your career-you can expect our highest level of attention and respect. We want to find the right fit for each role, but we also want you to find the right fit for your career.

We believe the best way to show you what our team is like is to treat you like you're already a part of it. We hope you'll consider joining our team of experienced professionals who are building their careers at Kalles Group—and having fun while doing it.

We are looking for a Senior Power Platform Security Engineer to support a Fortune 100 client by strengthening the security and governance of its enterprise-scale Power Platform environment. This role is ideal for a security-focused engineer with experience in policy enforcement, compliance automation, and platform-level remediation tooling.

This is not an app development or citizen developer role—applicants must have demonstrated success implementing security controls and governance at scale.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Automate policy enforcement and configuration management using PowerShell, CLI tools, and Power Platform SDKs/APIs.
  • Build and maintain internal tools to support secure-by-default deployments and reduce manual governance overhead.
  • Integrate new controls into existing compliance tracking and remediation systems.
  • Contribute to a security lifecycle governance framework including:
    • Secure by Default: Enforce default compliant configurations for new BI assets.
    • Continuous Compliance: Monitor, detect, and automate enforcement of BI governance policies.
    • Risk Remediation: Identify gaps in legacy workspaces and datasets and drive remediation through automation.
  • Partner with engineering, platform operations, and security/compliance stakeholders to operationalize scalable governance.

ABOUT YOU:

Your values:

    • Integrity: You believe in doing the right thing, even when it's uncomfortable, seemingly inefficient, or costly.
    • Purposefulness: You have a desire to serve others with your skillset and an openness to continuous learning and growth.
    • Ownership: You stick to your commitments, follow up with action, and seek clarity in communication & expectations.

Your experience:

  • 5+ years securing and administering Microsoft Power Platform environments in enterprise settings.
  • Deep experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, REST APIs, CLI tools).
  • Built or managed internal tooling using Power Platform SDKs or APIs.
  • Strong understanding of DLP, connector governance, and platform-level access and configuration controls.
  • Familiarity with Cosmos DB or SQL for platform integration scenarios.
  • Bonus: Experience with low-code/no-code security posture tools (e.g., Zenity or similar).
  • If you’ve only built Power Apps or Flows without platform-level security ownership, this role is not a fit.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Salary range for this role is $100,000-$125,000 per year, dependent on experience.
  • Medical, dental, vision plans
  • 401(k) with matching
  • 3 weeks of Paid Time Off, PLUS 8 paid company holidays and 2 flexible holidays for anything you want to celebrate!
  • Work/life balance – we know there’s more to life than work! We encourage our team to pursue other passions, get outside, and spend time with family. We work with clients and consultants to set expectations for a manageable workload.
  • Opportunities to connect in person and remotely with a passionate, supportive team that loves a good pun or GIF.

This role can be remote.
