About the Role
Diligent Robotics is seeking a proven hospital sales leader to join our mission-driven team as a Regional VP of Sales. In this role, you’ll own and develop a portfolio of strategic health system accounts and be responsible for sourcing, advancing, and closing 6-7 figure enterprise deals with leading hospital systems. You’ll report directly to Senior Commercial Leadership and act as a force multiplier for our sales team - accelerating Diligent’s expansion during a critical phase of growth.
This is not a marketing “growth” role. We’re looking for someone who knows how to navigate complex health system sales, build trust with senior hospital executives, and drive deals to close with urgency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a set of named strategic accounts to drive net-new bookings and pipeline growth.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that lead to high-impact multi-site deals.
- Work closely with hospital executives to understand needs and position Diligent as a transformational solution.
- Understand and help shape clinical workflows and change management approaches that enable successful robotic deployments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our product, engineering, and client success teams to ensure seamless pre- and post-sale execution.
- Provide market feedback to leadership to inform roadmap, strategy, and go-to-market adjustments.
- Represent Diligent with professionalism, urgency, and a clear understanding of the value we deliver to healthcare systems.
Required Skills/Experience
- 5–10+ years of complex sales experience in the healthcare or medical technology space; robotics, capital equipment, or service-based sales experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of closing large enterprise hospital deals.
- Comfortable engaging and negotiating with C-suite, clinical, and operational hospital leaders.
- Strong understanding of hospital decision-making processes and procurement workflows.
- Highly autonomous, able to operate in a fast-scaling environment with minimal handholding.
- Willing and able to travel as needed to advance key opportunities and build relationships; some field presence required, though much of the sales process can be done virtually
Nice to Have Skills/Experience:
- Experience selling robotics, automation, or AI solutions into hospitals.
- Network of healthcare executives and champions across IDNs and large health systems.
