What We Are Looking For:

The National Account Manager will help us achieve the defined long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

In this role, you will manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. You will be responsible for incorporating a higher level of autonomy and strategic selling in this role. The ideal candidate will have a mixture of both farmer and hunter experience, with a split focus on maintaining current revenues and unearthing new strategic opportunities.

You will own relationships with both existing and recently signed accounts, completing presentations on CPaaS solutions and services that meet or predict the customer’s future needs. In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate your experience developing relationships with commercial stakeholders with a view of helping Bandwidth understand our customers forecasts, needs and challenges. Ideally an existing networking of stakeholders will help you hit the ground running in the role.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary account owner for assigned National accounts
  • Proficient in setting expectations with customers, customer communication and updates
  • Provides a higher level of negotiation skills; strong presentation skills
  • Frequent training on deeper product knowledge sessions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple contacts at each account in a strategic matter
  • Proficient in independent adoption of ValueSelling framework across all accounts coupled with detailed account plans.
  • Expanding influence and internal network of the Bandwidth team
  • Identify new market opportunities for companies leveraging our services. Knows when to pull in and engage executive leadership with customers
  • Provide accurate forecasting, value and close dates. Understands competitive landscape, and market changes.
  • Uses shared marketing support and regularly marketing meeting cadences to craft talk tracks for opportunities
  • Discernment of audience and how to best communicate with them (including sales leadership). Understands what should be shared in each situation and the ability to lead meetings and important discussions.
  • Drive revenue generation and development of key partnerships
  • Achieve assigned quota for new revenue growth within assigned accounts

What You Need:

  • 5+ years of Sales and Business Development experience
  • 3+ years of Account Management experience within technology, preferably within telecommunications
  • Experience with Usage-based billing/forecasting
  • Bachelor degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
