Key Responsibilities

Tech-Due-Diligence Process Management

Understand and Assist: Thoroughly understand the tech-due-diligence process specific to Banyan (learn on the job) and assist the Technical Operating Partner in organizing and managing task breakdowns for all ongoing tech-due diligence projects.

Tool Utilization: Use various systems such as Excel, JIRA, Trello, Asana, and any other commonly used project management tools to facilitate this process.

Task Tracking and Reporting

Daily Tracking: Track the status of tasks daily across all systems, ensuring uniform reporting. Coordinate with multiple teams and leads involved in the M&A process to maintain consistency.

Update and Reporting: Provide updates on task statuses, highlighting delayed or attention-requiring tasks on a daily cadence to ensure early intervention.

Report Creation and Progress Monitoring

Report Generation: Create detailed reports and progress charts using Excel and other tools as required. Be willing to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies employed by Banyan.

Continuous Improvement: Assist in organizing, conducting, and following up on meetings related to project tasks and post-mortem/retrospective reviews, with a focus on continuously improving the process.


Strategic Project Tracking

Long-term Projects: Assist the Banyan Operating Partner in tracking strategic, long-running projects to ensure they remain on schedule and aligned with company goals.

Preferred Past Experience:

Project Management Experience: Prior project management experience related to technology projects, preferably within the software domain. Scrum master experience is highly preferred over traditional project-management roles.

Executive Assistance: Experience as an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff to a CEO or senior executive, particularly within a CEO office setting.

Professional certifications
PMP or similar agile/scrum master certifications are preferred, indicating a strong understanding of project management methodologies.


Overall Requirements

Industry Experience: Over 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Work Arrangement: Ability to work from the office at Chennai, at least 3 days a week.

Work Hours: Flexible work hours, mostly from 2 PM to 10 PM India time.

Team Collaboration: Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with various teams and leads across the organization.

Stakeholder management: Manage expectations of many senior-level stakeholders on the team.
