Forager is an AgTech software startup addressing a $105B+ industry to build technology for an overlooked portion of the food industry’s value-chain. We all have to eat, and food security is a growing problem worldwide. About us: we are a seed-stage startup with a live product, paying customers, and investor backing.
We’re currently looking for a few software engineers to join us on this adventure.

About you:
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty in a wide range of areas. Front-end, back-end, DevOps, technical architecture.
- Follow sustainable development practices - we take pride in building software that does not bog down into a ball of mud after a few years.
- Have experience with greenfield projects - things are not entirely well defined yet and will pivot often.
- Love to take initiative and put forward ideas. Ideas work best when people discuss and act on them.
Our tech stack:
- Front-end: Solid.js, Typescript, GraphQL
- Back-end: Go, Postgres
- DevOps: primarily Render, Github Actions, some GCP
This job is open to people with significant overlap with US time zones: North America + South America. We want to maintain some level of work/life balance, and working late into the night because you're in Europe or Asia isn't really ideal for that.
