Glance – An InMobi Group Company: Glance is an AI-first Screen Zero content discovery platform, and it’s scaled massively in the last few months to one of the largest platforms in India. Glance is a lock-screen first mobile content platform set up within InMobi. The average mobile phone user unlocks her phone >150 times a day. Glance aims to be there, providing visually rich, easy to consume content to entertain and inform mobile users - one unlock at a time. Glance is live on more than 100millions of mobile phones in India already, and we are only getting started on this journey! We are now into phase 2 of the Glance story - we are going global! Roposo is part of the Glance family. It is a short video entertainment platform. All the videos created here are user generated (via upload or Roposo creation tools in camera) and there are many communities creating these videos on various themes we call channels. Around 4 million videos are created every month on Roposo and power Roposo channels, some of the channels are - HaHa TV (for comedy videos), News, Beats (for singing/ dance performances) along with a For You (personalized for a user) and Your Feed (for videos of people a user follows). Sr. Manager – Brand Marketing 
 
The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance a company’s brand identity, increase brand awareness, and foster positive brand perception. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviours, ability to conceptualize brand marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, perception, and loyalty. Key responsibilities include creating brand strategy, positioning and narratives for product launches, overseeing planning and execution of campaigns across multiple channels, manage strategic brand partnerships and sponsorship opportunities, manage social media and community networks and channels in order to drive brand growth and impact. The successful candidate will have a strategic mindset, deep understanding of consumer behaviour, bent for data and insights, creative disposition, leadership abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a critical role that will directly impact our company's brand image and success by driving consumer awareness and perception. 
 
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Brand Marketing Leader who specializes in modern, fast-paced content marketing strategies and organic growth tactics. This role is crucial for enhancing our brand positioning and driving consumer engagement through dynamic and strategic marketing approaches, particularly in the B2C and D2C sectors. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 

 
Brand & Digital Marketing 

  • Define and refine Glance’s brand positioning, ensuring that the brand stands out in a competitive market and resonates deeply with our consumer base. 
  • Develop and execute long and short term brand marketing plans that drive business growth, enhance brand awareness, and position Glance as consumer first brand.  
  • Define the vision and build the brand health of the Glance brand with consistent messaging and channel marketing mix 
  •  
  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including organic social media outreach, to boost our brand presence across platforms. 
  • Spearhead the development of a high-velocity content marketing strategy, focusing on creating and disseminating engaging, relevant, and topical content that resonates with our target audiences. Ensure content is optimized for both speed of production and impact. 
  • Drive organic marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Develop strategies that leverage SEO, social media, and other channels to grow organic reach effectively. 
  • Work closely with marketing agencies to craft and execute marketing campaigns that align with our brand's voice and goals. Manage relationships with creative and digital marketing agencies to ensure deliverables are strategic and high-quality. 
  • Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

 

Product Marketing 

  • Craft the positioning, value proposition and messaging, driven by consumer insights 
  • Analyse customer needs, market trends, and competitive developments to define the communication road map for the brand and work closely with the business/ product teams to develop the same 
  • Drive user engagement and communications with value-add content and brand initiatives 
  • Be the voice of the consumer by understanding user needs and pain points through direct interactions with users & business stakeholders as well as data analytics and formulate strategies to elevate the same through product education and communication messages. 
  • Identify the most impactful problems to solve and be able to estimate the business impact of solving them 

 

Partnerships & Alliances 

  • Develop and implement partnerships and alliances strategies 
  • Identifying potential partnership opportunities and collaboration areas 
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis for partnerships 
  • Managing and nurturing partner relationships and negotiating contracts 

 

Community Building:  

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and deepen engagement with the Glance community 
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and active community environment. 

 

 
Qualifications: 
 
- 8 to 10 years of experience in brand marketing with a proven track record in new-age tech companies focused on B2C or D2C sectors. 
 
- Expertise in developing and implementing effective content marketing and organic growth strategies. 
 
- Strong experience working with marketing/advertising agencies, overseeing campaign development and execution, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. 
 
- Deep understanding of brand positioning strategies, particularly within the D2C domain. 
 
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a dynamic marketing team. 
 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building internal and external relationships. 
 
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
