About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior DevOps Engineer will need to hold TS/SCI clearance for TS/SCI, FedRAMP, and DoD-accredited programs. If you are passionate about deploying and managing cutting-edge technologies, optimizing development processes, and ensuring the reliability and security of our systems, we want to hear from you.  
 
You will work in close partnership with Engineering, Cloud Platform and Federal team, aligning engineering delivery with our Federal growth strategy, customer mission priorities, and compliance milestones. Together, you’ll ensure that Armada’s technology meets the technical, operational, and regulatory expectations of our federal partners. 

 

Location. Seattle, WA (preferred) · Virginia / Washington, DC metro area · Austin, TX.

 

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.  
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and streamline deployment and operations processes.  
  • Manage and monitor infrastructure on cloud platforms, with a focus on Azure.  
  • Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.  
  • Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices.  
  • Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration.  

 

Required

  • Active TS/SCI clearance. 
  • U.S. Citizenship required. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.  
  • Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role.  
  • Solid experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.  
  • Proficient in Azure cloud services, with hands-on experience in managing resources. 
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience implementing pipelines. 
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. 
  • Proficient with version control systems, especially GitHub. 
  • Scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. 
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools for infrastructure and applications. 

 

Preferred

  • Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or similar secure cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with air-gapped or tactical edge deployments.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or FedRAMP Practitioner.
  • Experience collaborating with system integrators, primes, or federal agencies.

Compensation & Benefits

For U.S. Based candidates: To ensure fairness and transparency, the base salary range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications.

In addition to the salary, this role will also be offered equity and subsidized benefits (details available upon request).
